Split Card: The Official Travel Card

SplitCard is the official city travel card of Split, which offers travelers free admission to some of the city’s museums and various discounts at affiliated restaurants, shops and travel agencies. Unlike most city cards SplitCard cannot be purchased as it is issued for FREE to visitors spending a certain number of nights in the town.

During the summer season (from April to October), SplitCard is free for visitors spending a minimum of 5 nights  in any type of accommodation within the town of Split. 

In the winter season (from November to March), SplitCard is available for guests spending at least 2 nights in any type of accommodation within the town of Split.

All you have to do is come with a proof of purchase for your accommodation that confirms you’ve paid for a stay (hotel, apartment, airbnb, etc.) within the municipality of Split and bring it to one of Split’s Tourist Information Centers (Peristil or Riva). If you meet the overnight stays criteria, a SplitCard will be issued to you on the spot.

The SplitCard is valid for 3  full days (72 hours to be exact) from the moment you have picked it up. So make sure you plan your schedule ahead as to make the most of the perks the travel card offers.

SplitCard provides a free entrance to: City Museum of Split, Emanuel Vidović Gallery, Ethnographic Museum of Split, Natural History Museum and the Zoo.

A 50% discount is offered for the Archaeological Museum of Split, Salona, and Croatian Maritime Museum.

A 30% discount is offered for Meštrović Gallery and Kaštelet. 

A 25% discount for the Cellars of Diocletian’s Palace.
