Tradicija Kirigin Pasticceria
A tradition of delicious pastries.
Tradicija Kirgin is the oldest pasty shop in Split and one of the four oldest continuously run artisan shops in town. Its history goes back to the year 1937 and goes back several generations of Split’s Kirigin family. At offer are some delicious staples of Dalmatian pastry shops, handmade each night at the premises, without added preservatives or additives. The place’s best-sellers are Tradicija’s variant of cinnamon roll locally known as Danac (i.e. Danish), štrudel and sirnica–the sweet bread loaf traditionally eaten at Eastern to celebrate the end of lent.
