La Bodega [CLOSED]

Snuggled into the corner of Mihovilova Širina, on the street between Pjaca and Fruit Square, La Bodega is a popular hangout and one of the larger street bars within the Old Town. Their quirky interior merges the trendy industrial chic with the colors and smells of a Spanish corner shops which gave the inspiration behind the name. Though even more stunning is their large outdoor terrace, nestled within the perimeter walls of an ancient church of St Michael, whose apse can still be seen on the eastern side of the terrace. Unlike most wine bars in town, La Bodega is more oriented towards casual wine-drinking, paired up with tapas rather than dinners, and its general vibe is more that of a café. Its one of those places frequented by locals and travelers alike, creating an informal, lively atmosphere. Give La Bodega a visit for a morning macchiato, a brunch or some evening wine and tapas.
