Ba!Će
The storied Sarajevo-style ćevapi.
Ba!Će is a tiny, quirky ćevapi joint located on the edge of Varoš neighborhood, a few yards away from Prokurative. As many people in this region of the world take their ćevapi very seriously, Ba!Će is serving the so-called Sarajevo-style of ćevapi. For many, Sarajevo-style is to ćevapi what Neapolitan-style is to pizza. They are prepared on the charcoal grill and served in the original Sarajevo ‘somun’, a type of flatbread more flat than the doughy, fluffy versions you would usually encounter in Croatia. Like the other two Bosnian styles, Sarajevo ćevapi are best enjoyed paired up with diced onion and kajmak.
