Split’s most ambitious coastal redevelopment is now complete — and the new Žnjan is open for summer 2025.

This expansive beach complex, just ten minutes from the city center, now offers a fully landscaped shoreline with lush greenery, wide promenades, and top-tier public amenities. The once bare and rocky terrain has been transformed into a vibrant urban beachfront with over 800 trees, 13,000 shrubs, and thoughtfully designed walking paths that stretch from Zenta Marina to Dujilovo.

Žnjan is no longer just a place to swim — it’s Split’s new seaside hub. Families can enjoy playgrounds, splash pads, and climbing areas, while active visitors will find basketball, football, and beach volleyball courts. A new open-air amphitheatre can hosts performances and events, and the long, palm-lined promenade is ideal for running, cycling, or evening strolls by the sea.

A range of new cafés, beach bars, and restrooms now line the waterfront, and ample public parking, though no longer free, remains available, keeping Žnjan the most accessible beach area in the city.
