La Linea, colloquially known as Taverna (i.e. the Tavern), is one of the quintessential old-school cafe bars that have been slowly disappearing from the Old Town. Popular among the locals as well as the wandering travelers, La Linea’s relaxed atmosphere in the little shaded square behind the Old City Hall is a great place for a morning coffee or an evening glass of beer or two. Univocally absent from all social media, La Linea is one of Split’s best kept secrets.
