Marvlvs Library Jazz Bar
Art-themed bar in a fifteenth century palace.
Tucked away in perhaps the most picturesque of streets in the Old Town, a door away from City Museum of Split, Marvlvs Library Jazz Bar is a cool place to spend an afternoon in. The place boasts of a really decent-sized library, the eclectic choice of artwork and, foremost, its extraordinary setting: the ground floor of a fifteenth century late gothic palace that once belonged to the family of Marko Marulić (Marcus Marulus), Split’s most prominent Renaissance writer. At offer are the standards of Split’s café scene, though the bar ought to be on the must-visit list of all history buffs.
