The International Regatta Sveti Duje returns to Split for the 20th jubilee on May 14-15. The event will consist of two parts, the University Eights Race consisting of university teams from Croatia and from abroad, and the Legends Race between the rowing crews of Oxford, Cambridge and Split.
University Eights Races
The University Eights Races will take take place at the 1000m long racing course in Spinut on Saturday, May 14. It will feature qualifying races as well as the grand University Eight Final. Featuring university teams from Croatia and aboard, the biggest starts of the University Eight races will be the two biggest names in university rowing, the rowing teams from Oxford and Cambridge.
Legends Race
The Legends race, scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 15, will take place across a 220m long track in the picturesque port of Split where rowing legends of Split will cross their proverbial rows against the fabled rowing teams of Oxford and Cambridge.
