Institute of Public Health of Split-Dalmatia county had approved plans to begin testing for SARS-CoV-2 at the premises of Split Airport. The test center, which had been working since April 26, is not located within the airport terminal building, but by the state road D409 which runs adjacent to it. Access to the testing location will therefore be possible both on foot and by a personal vehicle.

The airport testing center will be testing for SARS-CoV-2 by using two possible methods: the so-called Rapid Test that yields results within 30 minutes and the PCR test, with results within 24 hours.

The Rapid Test costs 200,00 HRK per test for results in Croatian language, while a further payment of 50,00 HRK will be required for results in English.

Similarly, the more-widely accepted PCR test costs 400,00 HRK for results in Croatian, with a further cost of 50,00 HRK for results in English.

Those wanting to take one of the tests are required to bring a valid identity document with them, as well as to make sure to understand the travel restrictions of the country they are traveling to, particularly regarding the type of test they require.

Payment is possible by cash, debit, or credit card. Pre-registration by phone or e-mail is not required.

The Airport Test Center will be working seven days a week. The working hours are valid as of April 29, 2021:

Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 16:00
Saturday: 07:00 – 17:00
Sunday: 08:00 – 16:00.
